HELP & SUPPORT

A little help.
A clear next step.

Release, price & compatibility

The current release is version 3.0, with the complications included in build 15. Version 3.0 is available on the public App Store. The US price is $4.99 once, with no subscription or in-app purchase. Local storefront prices and availability can differ.

Requires iOS 17 or later and watchOS 10 or later for Watch features. The phone journal works without a Watch. TestFlight is a separate beta-testing channel.

The current launch excludes the European Union while the required trader information is unresolved.

My Watch note hasn’t appeared on the phone

  1. Confirm the Watch is normally paired to this iPhone and both apps are updated.
  2. Check power, storage, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi, and that each device has been unlocked.
  3. Open both apps. Reopen the phone app if you force-quit it.
  4. Use Retry saved watch data if Settings shows a delivery issue.

Background transfers follow Apple’s schedules. Keep the apps installed while records are waiting. A pending note is not an emergency notification.

Health readings are missing or delayed

Health records are optional and can have gaps. Check permission on the device doing the reading. In parent mode, phone import is intentionally disabled; Watch authorization is local.

The app cannot make the Watch take a measurement. Not every data type is available on every model, in every region, or for every person. Completing the permission screen does not establish that every requested type can be read.

Revoking permission does not erase data already copied into the app. Later deletions in Apple Health are not mirrored automatically.

I don’t see the complication

Check that the Watch app, not just the phone app, is updated to build 15 or later. Open Steady Meadow once on the Watch, then return to the face editor and choose an available slot.

Look for Steady Meadow → I feel funny. Circular, corner, inline, and rectangular styles are supported, but each face offers different slots. Follow the complication setup steps.

More common questions

Does “I feel funny” alert a parent?

No. It records a moment locally. It does not send an emergency notification, call someone, or confirm that another person has read the note. Tell a trusted person directly when help is needed.

Can I use Apple Watch For Your Kids / Family Setup?

Not with the current app’s paired transfer. It requires a Watch normally paired to the journal’s iPhone. Local independence is different from Family Setup support.

Can one journal hold both my child’s and my records?

The app is designed for one wearer. Switching modes keeps existing records; it does not create separate accounts or separate mixed Health history. Use parent mode to disable new phone Health imports, and leave Health access off if the source history is uncertain.

Is the app diagnosing or predicting episodes?

No. It organizes self-reported observations and optional wellbeing tools. It does not diagnose, predict or detect episodes, provide treatment, or establish safety.

Can I use it without Health permission?

Yes. The journal, local Watch notes, support plan, and mindful pause work without Health access.

What happens if a save fails?

The app reports a storage issue instead of showing a successful save. Unlock the device, check available space, and try again. Keep existing app data while investigating.
